OUR SUCCESS

On average, our students routinely score well above the state and national standardized tests, including the Iowa Basic Skills achievement tests and the ACT and SAT. 

​

In 2023, the SHCS Class of 2023 were awarded scholarship totals that exceeded $1.2 million. Additionally, 22% of the 2023 graduates received full ride scholarships to the college of their choice. We've also had Hunt Scholars, Terry Scholars, McKnight Scholars and Chancellor Scholars.
