PRINCIPAL:

Sacred Heart Catholic School is hiring a Principal for the 2024-2025 school year.

THEOLOGY TEACHER:

Sacred Heart Catholic School is looking for a Theology Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year. 

​

  • The applicant will be able to provide engaging and active instruction, possess a high degree of content mastery as well as collaborate well with colleagues, students and families.

  • The applicant should understand how a Catholic worldview permeates the curriculum and instruction in addition to being a disciple of Christ committed to providing a Gospel witness. Sacred Heart Catholic School assists parents with the education and formation of students in Truth, Goodness, and Beauty by providing Catholic Christ-centered faith experiences, challenging academics, and formative student activities that prepare students to respond to God’s call. 

  • Along with a love for learning, the candidate must possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Theology along with 12 Education hours.

MONTESSORI AIDE:

Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking someone to play a role in the overall success of the Montessori environment to start as soon as possible. The applicant will be able to:

  • Help maintain peace and order in the classroom

  • Aid in resolving conflict among students

  • Utilize positive language to redirect behavior

  • Maintain a clean, welcoming environment

  • Observe classroom dynamics and decide where to be most helpful

  • Ensure safety and harmony outdoors

  • Assist with administrative duties

  • Inspire and guide the children through modeling and example

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS:

Sacred Heart Catholic School is seeking substitute teachers to assist with classroom instruction in the absence of a regular teacher. All interested in subbing must be Safe Environment certified. For more information, please contact the SHCS Front Office at 940-759-2511.
