SACRED HEART MONTESSORI

Students new to our Montessori PreK 3, PreK 4 or Kindergarten program may begin the process at

Sacred Heart Montessori

For over 40 years, the award-winning Montessori program at Sacred Heart Catholic School has guided the young child in his/her spiritual, social, emotional and academic formation.

Within the community of a multi-age classroom, designed to create natural opportunities for independent learning and exploration by the child, children embrace multi-sensory learning and passionate inquiry. Individual students follow their own curiosity at their own pace, taking the time they need to fully understand each concept and meet individualized learning goals.

Given the freedom and support to question, probe deeply and make connections, Montessori students grow up to be confident, enthusiastic and self-directed learners and citizens, accountable to both themselves and their community. They think critically, work collaboratively and act boldly with integrity. This is the perfect introduction to an education at SHCS! What better outcome could you wish for your children?

Parent Testimonials:

1) "In our Montessori program, our children are allowed to work at their pace with individualized instruction. All of their academic and social strengths are enhanced and any weaker areas get the extra needed attention. Our daughter loved this environment and it was the very best foundation we could have given her to begin her educational journey. She thrived in this environment, and was given the foundation she has needed to be successful in her elementary and middle school years. We wish the Montessori program went through elementary school!"

2) "Our Montessori program allows our children to learn in a caring environment that challenges and rewards them at their independent level. They are provided with the very best individualized attention that develops their academic prowess, setting the foundation for their future academic career."

3) "This school has made a tremendous impact on the lives of my children. My son started in 1st grade and my daughter started in PK-4. The classes focused on my child’s individual needs and the curriculum was creative, challenging and fun. The teachers were dedicated to ensure each child reach their full potential. The foundation that Montessori education provides prepared them to excel in the standard elementary classroom."
