Play Like a Champion

The Diocese of Fort Worth has implemented the Play Like a Champion Today educational program.  This class offers guidelines for parents and coaches which will enhance the student athlete’s experience.  This program is a research-based, child-centered curriculum designed to:

​

• help us recognize the spiritual nature of sports

• educate youth sport coaches to be effective ministers

• promote the moral and character development of our youth

• foster a safe and nurturing sport environment for all children

 

All Sacred Heart School students wishing to participate in sports must comply with the Play Like a Champion Today program.  All of our coaches are required to take this class prior to coaching a team and students cannot participate in athletics until a parent/guardian has taken the class.
